- rising action - Oedipus is told that to save his city he has to find the killer of the King before him King Latius
but in search of this killer he runs in to a contravise with creon and things start getting hectic
- climax - When the all seeing profeit tiresias tells Oedipus that he is the killer of Latuis and that gets Oedipus
even more mad
- falling action - Which leads to Oedipus trying to find the true which everyone is trying to prevent for him learning
because it will destory Oedipus and his family.
- resolution or denouement - That after finding the true that the profeicy came true and that Jocasta is really his
mother and King Latuis his father Oedipus guagles his eyes out and jocasta killed herself
